Incorporated in the year 1992, the company established a modern cigarette manufacturing facility, duly supported with a Primary Manufacturing Division equipped with complete processing facility of raw tobacco.

Western Tobacco Limited was the last tobacco industry to have received the L.O.I for Industrial License from Government of India. Henceforth Industrial Licenses to Tobacco processing or product manufacturing units have not been issued Industrial License.

The Company was granted Export House Status by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India for the year 2004-2009.

Directorate of Industries, Government of Madhya Pradesh also registered Western Tobacco Limited as a 100% export oriented industrial unit w.e.f. 15.02.1995.

The plant is located in Mandideep, Industrial Area, Near Bhopal, and has a capacity to produce Million Cigarettes per day.

The company also undertakes contract manufacturing of cigarettes under license from Private label owners.

The PMD of the Company is well equipped to cater to the needs of importers of Cut Tobacco of various grades.

The company has the right mix of experts, each having more than 20 years of experience in their respective disciplines like procurement, blending & processing of raw tobacco, cigarette manufacturing, export marketing, logistics, export documentation and banking.
